About Ultherapy®
FAQ’s
Ultherapy is the only non-invasive treatment procedure approved by the FDA for lifting the skin on the neck, chin, and brow. With little to no downtime, Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound to lift and tighten loose skin over time.
Ultherapy is the only non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound to stimulate the growth of new collagen deep within the skin. This production of new collagen occurs over a period of time, with visible results seen in 3-6 months.
Ultherapy is the only procedure that uses ultrasound imaging, allowing our skincare professionals to see the layers of tissue that need to be targeted during treatment. This, in turn, ensures the energy is deposited precisely to where it will be most effective.
At Renu MediSpa, you can trust our team of skincare professionals to take careful measures to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible. In fact, most of our patients tell us that they leave comfortable and excited about the benefits of their Ultherapy treatment.
Skin continues to age, no matter what we do. However, patients treated with Ultherapy retain fresh, young collagen for up to 12 months following the procedure. Future touch-up treatments are then needed to help keep pace with the natural aging process, which varies for every individual.
Side effects of Ultherapy include slight redness for up to an hour following treatment. Other rare side effects include slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness. However, these side effects are mild and temporary in nature.
Depending on the areas being treated, patients can expect to pay between $1500 and $1000 for Ultherapy treatments. Keep in mind that Ultherapy meets the demand for something between skin creams and surgery.
